I have decided to move from Caring Bridge to Tracknet. I have come to the conclusion that Caring Bridge is a little confusing and hard to navigate. I want to make sure everyone is getting the updates on Mom & Dad.

Yesterday mom fell. I am glad that Janet (sister) was there to help. The fire department responded and mom ended up in the ER. With the high level of chaos, and not being there, this is my first opportunity to the out the information and condition of mom.
Mom sprained both ankles and fractured her hip. Mom told me that it looks like she might be in the hospital for 2 weeks.
At this time I have no idea what the prognosis is or the treatment path the doctors are planning for mom. I am sure that today we will get a better idea of the treatment that is ahead of mom.
She is at Pali Momi Medical Center (808-486-6000), Rm 630. If you decide to call be sure to consider the time in Hawaii. My guess for calling would be 12pm – 4pm. If I hear different I will post it.
I will find out today about what is going to happen with her current cancer treatment she was to start this Thursday.
Janet is doing a great job taking care of dad and Jim. I am extremely grateful that she was there.
